When you use Vedix Event Planner, we collect the following information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing address, country
- Event Data: Event details, guest lists, meal plans, gift registries, inventory, and vendor information you create
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers
- Usage Data: Basic interaction data to improve our service
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the event planning service
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To send verification emails and service notifications
- To provide AI-powered event planning suggestions (via Google Gemini)
- To respond to support inquiries
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. Card details are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page in the app. Upon deletion:
- All personal information (name, phone, address) is permanently erased
- All events, guests, meals, gifts, and inventory data are permanently deleted
- Your email and account number are retained in a disabled state to allow future reactivation with the same account number
- Active Stripe subscriptions are cancelled

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (visible in your Profile)
- Correct inaccurate data (editable in your Profile)
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data by contacting support
7. Children's Privacy
Vedix Event Planner is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
